Whilst Visiting Public Aquariums,

we have often seen jellyfish on display,

the good news is that if you live in the USA you can now buy a jelly fish aquarium from Jellyfishart, starting at a basic set up for $285, but you can spend as much as $709 if you want the full Monty, the main problem in keeping jelly fish is that they get sucked into the filter system so you have to use a under gravel filter or version of it like the one above, water is drawn up the side of the aquarium by a airlift, the water goes through the gravel at the bottom of the aquarium but there is not enough suction to trap the jelly fish, the aquarium comes fitted with LED lights to brighten up the tank and also has a supply of food,

although the website is based in America, the company will FedEx the jelly kit to the UK, although won't guarantee the live arrival of the jellyfish themselves, so it is down to the coast where Moon Jellyfish are regularly seen floating just off beaches and in harbours, for UK residents they have been photographed anywhere from Loch Nevis (Scotland) to Shoreham Harbour on the South Coast of England amongst other places for anyone wanting to keep these fascinating pets.
